17.01.2026 - New Year 2026 Workshop

Venue: Pax Lodge, London NW3 5PQ

The theme for this workshop will be “Using Both Fresh and Unconventional Materials ” as described in Sogetsu Text book 4-11, and the workshop will be led by Shoko Koizumi-Hanson sensei. When considering unconventional materials perhaps look at every day household items or something which is commonly seen in daily life, for example: torn cardboard, plastic filing folder, wired polystyrene foam, rubber tubes, paper, metal, wire, stones, drinking straws and see how these items will be harmonised or contrasted in your arrangement alongside fresh materials.
