Thank you to everyone who joined us to explore the functional beauty of Japanese craft through Ikebana at the ‘Hyakkō in bloom: flower arranging with exhibition ceramics’ workshops at Japan House London. We’d love to share the joyful memories of the event. Led by Ikebana practitioners Aya Tanaka & Tomoko Sempo Yanagi, Ikebana practitioner from Ikenobo School led the Ikebana workshop, and the participants had hands-on experience to interact with the ceramic vessels by the makers featured in the ‘Hyakkō: 100+ Makers from Japan’ exhibition.
