On 29 June 2026, members came together for a memorable day that combined our Annual General Meeting with an Ikebana workshop led by Sumie Takahashi Sensei of the Nippon Kado Koryu School.

After the AGM and a relaxed lunch, everyone enjoyed an inspiring afternoon discovering the traditional technique of hana kanzashi, a distinctive ikebana skill used to secure an arrangement within a vessel. Following sensei's demonstration, participants put the technique into practice, creating their own arrangements while learning the unique method.

The day was filled with learning, creativity, and plenty of conversation, making it a wonderful chance to reconnect with fellow members and welcome new faces. Our heartfelt thanks go to Sumie Takahashi sensei for sharing her knowledge and to everyone who joined us to make the event such an enjoyable occasion.
